Rooms & Suites on the 2nd and 3rd floors are named for the Musson-Degas Family. The Degas House provides copies (in every room and suite) of Degas In New Orleans by Christopher Benfey and Degas in New Orleans, A Creole Sojourn, winner of the Gold Award for Documentaries at the International Flagstaff Film Festival. We hope you will take the time to read and view the memories and observations of Degas’ visit to New Orleans in the form of commentary, and most importantly, remember that Edgar Degas kept every portrait of his Family that was painted in this House until the day he died.
